The beauty and uniqueness of each one of the island beaches covers all special demands of a traveler. Either organized or solitude, small or large, sandy or rocky, all promise unforgettable swimming experience. Blue flags certify the quality of island’s water.

Makris Yialos Beach It is probably the most popular beach along this coastline as it has gently shelving sands, crystal clear waters an excellent selection of water sports and one of the most modern beach bars on the island. It is extremely busy during the high season and is the place where the young and beautiful of Kefalonia love to hang out. The beach is situated a short walk down from the main road in Lassi, just 5km from SEA VIEW studios.

Platis Yialos Beach: This beach is next to and very similar to Makris Gialos in that it is a lovely stretch of golden sand with crystal clear shallow waters.

Spasmata and Megali Ammos Beaches: Both are situated in Minies Village, 5 minutes-walk by car from the studios. They offer a quite environment and have well organized beach bars with umbrellas and sun-beds.

Trapezaki beach: A picturesque sandy beach surrounded by pine trees. It is Located in Mousata village (Argostoli-Poros main road).

Antisamos Beach: Located 3 km south of the village of Sami and accessed by a road that takes you through breathtaking scenery this is a sweep of white pebbles lapped by violet sea in a picturesque setting. It is a beautiful beach with clear waters and facilities such as sun beds, umbrellas and a small canteen selling cool drinks.

Myrtos beach: From up above it looks like a fine white sand beach however once on the beach you will find its smooth, little, white pebbles. The bay is nestled in to white cliffs making the whole effect very dramatic. There are limited facilities which include sun beds and umbrellas and a small beach shack offering drinks.

Xi Beach: This particular beach is situated in palliki peninsula, just after Lixouri. It is known for the red sand and it is ideal for summer activities.

Petanoi beach: The beach is situated in the west part of palliki peninsula. It has a totally tropical feel and is completely unspoiled and natural. View is amazing and even though the selection of fish taverns and bars is limited the quality is excellent. Sections of the beach are well organized with sun beds and umbrellas however you can quite easily find your own quiet spot away from anyone else.
